Mental Landscape 56: The One Who Speaks & The One Who Is Silent by Alexis Blaire Zielke

Alexis Blaire Zielke paints, writes and does 1:1 sessions with people, listening and talking about non-duality. She published her first book, The Nothing, on Halloween of 2024. The book is inspired by the antagonist of the Film, The NeverEnding Story, and is illustrated with drawings of endangered animals. The book is available on Kickstarter.com.
The Mental Landscapes series is a practice of painting from memory. A practice where anything can arise. A practice without awareness as to what is arising. Anything is allowed. Surprise, surprise, surprise… And so, a tulip is not a tulip, but a memory of many tulips, and peonies, and dahlias combined into a unique, imaginary plant. A person is not exactly someone I have met before, but many faces, many feelings, and many expressions. Experience translates into impressions. Impressions are expressed
in color and form.
